The recognition agreement between the University branch of the UCU and the University has been recently updated following negotiations. The agreement provides a framework for the UCU being the recognised Trade Union for Academic Staff and how consultation and negotiation between the University branch of the UCU and the University (Management) will proceed. It also deals with the process how any disputes are handled. There have been very few minor changes and the updated agreement was unanimously accepted by the Branch committee. The agreement must also be accepted by members. A copy of the agreement is available from this link
